Now, through cutting-edge lenticular technology, they come to life more than ever.

Herta Müller is simply a virtuoso of words. Whether literature or art, her work is deeply moving – in very different ways. This is what fascinates me most about her pieces: the Nobel Prize winner's novels are known for their gripping depth – in her collage of advertising sheets she adds a hint of humor and lightness... a very compelling fusion.

There are only a few artists who have such a reliable ability to immerse you completely in other worlds. Massimo Colonna's elegant rock garden composition "Red Maple Tree", for example, exudes such a calming Zen atmosphere that everything around it falls silent. Its aesthetics radiate into one's own surroundings.

Wolfgang Uhlig’s ocean photography is pure tranquility—the sea, reduced to its essence. He’s capturing an untouched vastness, free of distractions, where the horizon becomes a place of contemplation. To me, it’s more than photography, it feels like a deep breath, a moment of calm and inspiration.

Art has the power to change how we see the world—Kevin Krautgartner takes it to new heights. His aerial photography reveals nature’s hidden designs, turning landscapes into abstract compositions of color and form. What fascinates me is how his work blends precision with wonder. He offers a perspective beyond our reach— a perfect reminder of why art matters.

The two photographers capture scenes that are so majestic and yet so calm that it is hard to resist their inspiring effect. That's one of the reasons why this piece hangs right opposite my desk. Every time you look at it, something new pops out – the dark silhouettes alone, looking into the bright blue, tell their very own stories.

Stefanie Schneider is one of the artists who have been part of LUMAS since the very beginning. Her unique approach of shooting with expired Polaroid film makes her work a total work of art that never ceases to intrigue. It is a play with chance, blended with her sense of aesthetics. To me, the combination of expertise and experimentation is simply irresistible.
