Claudio Gotsch's "Black Edition" portraits the diverse fauna of the Swiss high valley against a black background that creates an intimacy with its subjects. These black-and-white works remove the animals from the mountain world, and in doing so highlights their character and vitality, revealing how worthy they are of our protection. As an artist, Gotsch has dedicated himself to his homeland. He captures the Swiss landscape and wildlife in exceptionally lively photographs.
