The studied painter draws his inspiration particularly from architecture and interior design, especially from the Bauhaus era. Critics praise the work of the greatly exhibited artist above all for its expressive reduction and harmonious composition. Although he creates new dream destinations through his paintings, trained eyes can discover numerous references to architectural icons such as Frank Lloyd Wright or artistic legends like Edward Hopper. His work combines impressive art historical and modern references with remarkable creativity. Some of his most recent works are cut-outs, an innovative art form that expands his contemporary repertoire. In a performative way, they emphasize the excerpt-like quality that his work thrives on: the precise focus enables an examination of the artwork that goes into depth rather than breadth. The presence of figures is deliberately avoided in order to draw the viewer's attention to the minimalist expression and clarity of the structures. The purist concept creates a space for clear vision, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves undisturbed in the harmony of the composition and feel part of the serene atmosphere. The use of straight forms and a pastel palette often creates a soft ambiance reminiscent of the atmosphere of California - the glamorous home of innovation and big dreams.
