Introduction

Cesnakevicius is a Lithuanian photographer whose visions settle somewhere between painting and photography. He combines different eras and genres. In one piece, a lush green field becomes a hamster wheel with kangaroos. In another, a yellow submarine finds itself lost in a field of rapeseed, bringing the catchy tune to mind. Cesnakevicius creates fantastic narrative images that winkingly invite us to daydream.
