Alex Villaluz (born 1972) made music videos before he became successful as a photo artist. Since graduating from the New York School of Visual Arts, he has published his work in books and magazines such as “The New Yorker.” For Lumas, he jeers at the seeming normality of suburbs through the use of strangely posed individual figures.
